Times are tough right now for Mike Brown, to say the very least. The former WEC featherweight champion has lost four of his past six fights and two in a row for the first time since 2004. His future is uncertain and remains on unstable ground due to his recent UFC losses. Now down to perhaps his final chance in the organization, Brown recently told MMAjunkie.com he's healing from a hand injury and possible heart issue. But he's vowed to get healthy and make the most of the opportunity.

UFC officials today announced than a planned Facebook.com stream for Saturday's "UFC Fight Night 23: UFC Fight for the Troops 2" event will now feature four bouts instead of just two. The new additions to the stream include Mike Brown vs. Rani Yahya and Willamy Freire vs. Waylon Lowe.

Not more than a week after suffering a split-decision loss to Diego Nunes this past Saturday at UFC 125, Brown has volunteered to step in for an injured Chan Sung Jung and meet Rani Yahya at "UFC Fight Night 23: Fight for the Troops 2." Among those facing possible half-year suspensions are main-card fighters Jamie Varner and Mark Hominick and preliminary-card fighters Mike Brown and Antonio Banuelos.
